Bipolar Beacon – Lived Experience Consultancy

Led by our founder Christine Ombima, who has lived experience in the same, this program empowers others with similar experiences to become advocates.

Participants share their stories, receive peer support, and offer insights in trainings and policy spaces, proving that lived experience is powerful expertise.

Through meaningful storytelling and shared experience, participants don't just unburden, they help others feel seen, supported, and less alone. Each voice becomes a bridge to healing and a catalyst for change.

Tutazidi Hangouts – Community & Team Building

"Tutazidi" means "we press on" in Swahili. These sessions create safe spaces for group therapy, reflection, and bonding through team-building activities and expressive arts.

They're ideal for promoting healing, connection, and shared resilience within the community.

In July 2024, we had the Teach for Portugal cultural exchange program where we had the honor of hosting mentors from Teach For Portugal. We had 2 mentors who were hosted at Gramojoy pre-primary school for 1 month.
