Artvista uses creative expression to support children's mental wellness. Through drawing, painting, and craft, learners process emotions, build confidence, and learn coping skills.
We deliver sessions in schools and clinics, working closely with teachers and parents for early intervention and support.

Led by our founder Christine Ombima, who has lived experience in the same, this program empowers others with similar experiences to become advocates.
Participants share their stories, receive peer support, and offer insights in trainings and policy spaces, proving that lived experience is powerful expertise.
Through meaningful storytelling and shared experience, participants don't just unburden, they help others feel seen, supported, and less alone. Each voice becomes a bridge to healing and a catalyst for change.

Every child learns differently, and every child deserves a fair chance to thrive. Every Learner Matters is a pilot program that introduces Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) into under-resourced schools, ensuring that learners with psychosocial and developmental challenges receive the support they need to succeed, academically and emotionally.

Let Kids Move is a play-based learning initiative that brings together children of all abilities—neurodiverse and neurotypical—to grow through movement, creativity, and unstructured play. It supports emotional regulation, builds social skills, and promotes joy in a relaxed, inclusive environment.

"Tutazidi" means "we press on" in Swahili. These sessions create safe spaces for group therapy, reflection, and bonding through team-building activities and expressive arts.
They're ideal for promoting healing, connection, and shared resilience within the community.
In July 2024, we had the Teach for Portugal cultural exchange program where we had the honor of hosting mentors from Teach For Portugal. We had 2 mentors who were hosted at Gramojoy pre-primary school for 1 month.

Welcome to Stand Out 4 Mental Health support group. This is a support group for persons with lived experience. We also have mental health professionals and caregivers. We are family and support each other at all times. Always feel free to reach out when in distress. However, the views from the group should not replace medical treatment. This is a safe space for all. You are highly welcome.
